Supervises the management of patient care utilizing critical thinking and nursing process, discharge planning, resource identification, linking and scheduling patients with required services, monitoring care delivery, advocating for the patient, care planning and evaluating outcomes. Coordinates patient care across the health care continuum, and assists other team members with meeting individual patient needs. This position may require flexibility of hours.EDUCATION:For internal promotions to a RN New Grad or for hires between 9/1/15 - 5/1/2018, must be currently enrolled in a BSN or MSN program & degree must be completed within 3 years of DOH or date of transition to an RN position. Effective for New Hires after 5/1/18, BSN or higher required. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required.EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Active participation and successful completion of assigned Critical Care Core Curriculum program, required. Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia course curriculum within 60 days of hire, required. Our compensation reflects the following premium structure for every shift:"Ž - Base rate paid for the first 8 hours of work in a day"Ž - 1.5x overtime pay for hours 8-12 worked in a workday."Ž - 2x double-time pay for any hours beyond 12 in a workday"Ž This ensures that employees are fairly compensated for the full length of their shift, with enhanced pay as their workday progresses. The estimated blended hourly rate, accounting for these premiums on a 12-hour shift, ranges from $53.67 to $53.67.
