Overview: The Transplant Coordinator Associate supports the transplant team by organizing and preparing essential medical records and documentation required for regulatory compliance. This role ensures all key documents are complete, identifies missing information, and alerts the clinical team in real time. Responsibilities: They prepare consent forms, patient education packets, SRTR data, and other transplant-specific materials for patient visits. The transplant associate assists in organizing information for listing committee reviews and ensures all records meet UNOS and CMS standards.The position also manages incoming calls from patients, families, and consulting departmentstriaging needs, gathering information, and providing guidance within their scope. Additional responsibilities include generating standardized letters, scheduling patient appointments and procedures, shipping HLA lab kits, coordinating equipment maintenance with Biomedical staff, and facilitating communication with referring physicians, dialysis units, insurance carriers, and other partners involved in transplant care.The transplant coordinator associates work closely with the kidney listing and waitlist teams. Qualifications: EducationH.S.
