Overview: Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or In Lieu of formal education program, two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is Required Work Experience1 year of experience in a medical office setting with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program.
