Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System. • 12 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Facility: Unity Hospital and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System. Shift & Scheduling: - Weekend Coverage: EOW - Call Required: dependent on staffing needs Job Highlights: - This is a 14 bed overflow unit for several months to accommodate our ED boarder patients. This will be a med/surg tele unit. - It will be a flex space inside our GI Endoscopy space so the number of patients may increase or decrease depending on demand/boarder numbers. - May not assume assignment and act as resource in GIOF or med/surg. - Scrubs: Navy blue/white - Communication: SBAR - for ED pts SBAR is used, for any other transfers/admissions verbal report is the expectation - Provider Supports: IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary Floating Requirements: Note: based on turn, would float to care for MS patients Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
