You will be involved in the Equity-Linked Capital Markets coverage effort for a variety of corporate clients across industries and countriesUnderstand the pricing of various convertible and derivative structures and help with the development of analysis toolsUtilize financial analysis to proactively identify opportunities to cross-sellSupports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.Ensures alignment between stakeholders.Researches and analyzes company and industry financial and operating information.Applies technical concepts and understands implication of work to client/transaction.Develops an understanding of and proficiency in using all required systems and models.Participates in defining the communication plan designed to positively influence or change behaviour and develops tailored messagingProvides feedback on, and supports continuous improvement opportunities.Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis, and/or streamlined reporting.Delivers financial modeling to support strategic recommendations to clients.Considers risk, internal controls and compliance as part of day-to-day accountabilities and adheres to policies and procedures.Focus may be on a business/group.Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.Works mostly independently.Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.Take measured risks while protecting the bank by applying our Risk Management Framework in the execution of your role, in line with our Risk Culture and within our approved Risk Appetite, making sound and risk informed decisions that align to business strategy, protect assets, and adhere to applicable policy documents (Frameworks, Policies, Standards, Procedures and Supporting documents), laws and regulations.Qualifications:Typically between 1 - 3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.An undergraduate degree with academic coursework in finance, economics, or accounting with outstanding academic achievement.Financial analysis training and experience.1+ years of successive relevant experience within investment and/or corporate banking.Derivatives background/experience helpfulShows initiative, prioritizes work, multi-tasks effectively.Excellent analytical skills to include business, financial, and credit analysis areasExpertise in using financial computer applications and database management tools.Skilled in creating statistical presentations.Creative, insightful, and resourceful.Strong interpersonal skills within a demanding team environment.Strong ability to review and assess detailed information daily on multiple projects in an organized manner.Ability to work within a team in a fast-moving, results-driven environmentAbility to work independently and to take initiativesVerbal & written communication skills - In-depth.Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.Analytical and problem solving skills - In-depth.Influence skills - In-depth.The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 up to $135,000.00 USD (subject to the candidate meeting the specific skills, experience, education, and qualification requirements)Salary:Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
