The Protective & Marine Division is seeking a candidate with extensive experience with high performance coatings in the Oil & Gas/Energy market segment. This role will be responsible for building effective relationships with select asset owners across their value chain to identify, prioritize, and secure Protective & Marine projects and discretionary business. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the proactive development of specifications and related activities with asset owners and specifiers in anticipation of future projects with these firms. This will be accomplished by engaging and influencing key decision makers including multiple levels of management, technical, procurement and project teams. Another important aspect of this position will be to provide training and guidance to Protective & Marine Sales Representatives and customers regarding relevant high performance coating solutions. Additional Information:This position is a field position and will be expected to travel at least 75% of the time, in the WY, MT, ID, OR, WA and AK areas.Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Position will serve as the single point of contact and will manage MRO/Facility-based customer relationships, coordinate pricing across geography/span of control. Ultimately, the goal of this position is to make major inroads to specific MRO/facility-based related customers and provide for Protective and Marine Coating needs in all of those various facilities/locations. This position will work with specified sale representative teams within stated geography to ensure that specific MRO/Facility locations receive the same level of service program offerings. The MRO/Facility Account Representative must be able to effectively utilize resources, marketing technical, and work with decision making facility individuals to meet customer expectations and achieve long-term sales/market growth. This person will also work with Product Marketing to create awareness of new products to serve customer needs. Will manage a territory that will vary based on Sales Manager input and aligned with Protective & Marine Sales Representatives within that sales territory. Additional Responsibilities: P&L/TIS Responsibility for assigned accounts.Implement marketing programs for the assigned accounts and related business.Develop strategies to increase market share within span of control.Serve as the go-to person for these MRO/Facility Locations as identified, single point of contact.Negotiating Pricing with the assigned MRO/Facility Accounts.Development and maintaining of customer communications, number of facilities and locations.Development and maintenance of customer pricing and customer coatings specifications (if applicable).
