Technical Director

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Technical Director to join our Service Design and Engineering Team in Annapolis Junction, MD. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Reviews current technology capabilities and builds a roadmap for improved Service Delivery across several different technology platforms for the extended enterprise.Communicates and collaborates with all key stakeholders on ways to integrate best commercial practices for end-to-end solutions to Corporate Services.Oversee the production of Technical Insertions, Statement of Work, and Preliminary Technical Board reviews.Participate in opportunity for improvement efforts to improve servicesIdentify and execute improvement efforts and participate in special program efforts as requiredHost program and customer meetings and interface efforts for Frame and Program success as requiredMay have the opportunity to travel as required to meet program objectivesLead a team of regionally-based Technical Directors (3-6) performing similar duties, with regional-based responsibilities as wellMinimum Qualifications:18+ years of experience in technical support, design and oversight roles in the Information Technology field leaning towards Cloud Solutioning or developing engineering conceptsBachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, Business or other applicable/technical degree or an additional 6 years of experience may be substituted for education.Experience conveying very technical concepts to non-technical individuals in both verbal and written formatsPossess or willingness to learn the Managed Services environment and Cloud Engineering Integration.Five years working in a team environment or leading a teamPreferred Qualifications:CompTIA Security+ CE certification5 years of Managed Service experienceSnow and/or Jira Ticketing experienceClearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph, or Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with PolyPhysical Requirements:Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
