This position will be full-time contract and hybrid in Trenton, NJ. What You'll DoProvide end‑to‑end oversight of multiple interrelated projects within the enterprise Application Modernization programSupervise, coach, and support assigned Project Managers to ensure consistent delivery standards, reporting, and governance practicesManage program‑level scope, schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics across all workstreamsLead the transition from legacy mainframe/COBOL systems to cloud‑based Salesforce solutions and MuleSoft integrationsOversee data migration efforts, system integrations, and legacy system decommissioning activitiesServe as the primary escalation point and executive liaison regarding program status, risks, and decision‑making needsManage vendor relationships, technical deliverables, and contractual compliance throughout the program lifecycleFacilitate governance forums, steering committee meetings, and executive‑level briefingsEnsure strong stakeholder engagement and alignment across cross‑functional teams, divisions, agencies, and external partnersWhat You'll Need Required:8–10+ years of IT project/program management experience, including oversight of concurrent, interdependent projectsDemonstrated leadership of large‑scale legacy modernization or digital transformation initiativesHands‑on experience with mainframe/COBOL modernization toward cloud‑based architecturesExperience overseeing enterprise Salesforce implementations and MuleSoft (or comparable iPaaS) integrationsProven track record managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and vendor performance for initiatives exceeding $2M+Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to and engaging senior leadershipDemonstrated governance leadership and cross‑functional stakeholder coordinationPreferred:Government or public‑sector program management experienceBachelor’s degree, advanced degree, or equivalent technical study'Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, Salesforce, ITIL, Agile)Recognized subject-matter expertise in modernization, transformation, or enterprise architectureUnderstanding of legacy modernization strategies (replatform, refactor, rebuild, retire)Experience with enterprise data migration, API‑based integrations, and large-scale system transformationsPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etcAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitorReasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$100 - $120 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
