Clinical Laboratory SupervisorLocation: Pittsburgh, PASchedule: Monday – Friday | 12:30 PM – 9:00 PMSalary: $72,500 – $92,500 + $4,000 Shift Differential + Bonus PotentialAbout the Role:A clinical laboratory organization is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily wet lab operations and support laboratory staff in a regulated clinical testing environment. This role is responsible for supervising workflow, managing laboratory personnel, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and supporting quality management initiatives.This position reports to the Clinical Laboratory Manager and plays a key role in maintaining efficient laboratory operations and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily wet lab activities and laboratory workflowManage and support laboratory personnel and productivityAssign and monitor work while providing coaching and feedbackEnsure adherence to laboratory SOPs, quality standards, and testing integrityAssist with hiring, training, and performance management of staffMonitor laboratory supply inventory and coordinate orderingRun data algorithms and QC matrices as delegatedCommunicate regularly with department leadership regarding sample volume and resourcesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a science-related field3+ years of clinical laboratory experience1+ year of experience in a CAP-regulated laboratoryPrior supervisory experience managing laboratory staffExperience overseeing laboratory workflow and quality processesPreferred QualificationsExperience as a Laboratory Supervisor or similar management roleExperience supporting regulatory inspections or laboratory quality managementAdvanced education and additional laboratory experience may be consideredBenefitsStock Grant Program401(k) with 100% employer match up to 6% (immediate vesting)Health insurance starting Day 1 (employer covers majority of premiums)Multiple health plan options availableThis company is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
