Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 7 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - University of Chicago Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - University of Chicago Medical Center. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: • RN must be competent in rhythm strip interpretation. • Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management, Genitourinary/Renal, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Tracheostomy care/management, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer competence in initiating and maintaining cardiac drips such as dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem. Required Credentials: • You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. • Required to pass EKG strip test at orientation. • Drivers License/State ID: Government issued photo ID. Special Requests: Any block scheduling or special schedule requests must be made on the submittal email and discussed in the interview. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
