You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with clear communication and strong customer service. Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of station areas, platforms, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or operational concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing initial scene control, requesting appropriate assistance, and completing required notifications. Control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and directing individuals to appropriate locations in accordance with post orders. Carry and maintain assigned duty gear in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws, follow use of force guidelines, and complete timely, accurate reports and required documentation.Minimum Requirements: An armed guard card and/or license is required. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
