As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help reduce security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. Perform armed patrol duties on foot and/or in a vehicle, including regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and requesting law enforcement and/or medical support as needed. Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or authorizations, issuing visitor guidance, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and other security-related concerns. Complete written and/or electronic reports such as shift activity logs, patrol checks, incident reports, and evidence documentation when required, and communicate relevant information to site leadership.Minimum Requirements: Have three or more years combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security-related experience or a college degree. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
