MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in supporting a large US Government program in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This is an onsite position.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation.Responsible for applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.Interaction with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.Communicates with other TDP project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in STEM field.7 years of position-relevant work experience.DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level III.Experience with DoD 5000.02 documentation requirements.Experience with use case development and requirements derivation.Experience with developing technical project artifacts.Familiarity with Agile software development process and experience with software engineering processes.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering.Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP), and DAWIA Systems Engineering Level III.Clearance Requirements:Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility prior to starting this position.Physical Requirements:Use of computers and an ability for productivity in a government office environment within the APGAbility to travel within the APG to visit various physical customer locations.
