Licensed Practical Nurse - Cardiovascular Clinic

Job Description Now seeking an LPN to join our Cardiovascular Clinic! M-F Days7a-5:30p 4 days a week or 8:30a-5p 5 days a weekHybrid opportunity after 1 year!Dual licensure required- Missouri and Kansas State LPN licensureBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification requiredProvides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Responsible for screening walk-in patients, telephone screening (with protocols), medication/injection education, assist with procedures, cleaning wounds, dressing changes, suctioning, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, biopsies, diabetic nail care, and other duties as assigned by respective clinic . Able to work in a team atmosphere, as well as, autonomously. Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times. Delegates tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel UAP in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice. May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties as needed.This position will be based at the Plaza and may float to multiple offices including Saint Luke's East , North and South.KS & MO LPN License required; if the ideal candidate does not possess dual licensure at time of offer, he/she may be given an offer contingent upon completion of dual licensure within 90 days of start.Required:• Dual licensure required- Missouri and Kansas State LPN licensure• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Job Requirements Applicable Experience:Less than 1 yearBasic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Licensed Practical Nurse (KS) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Licensed Practical Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS) Job Details Full TimeDay (United States of America) The best place to get care.
