Job InfoJob Location: Newport News , VirginiaRoute Type: LocalType of Assignment: Temp to HireTransmission Type: AutomaticJob RequirementsExperience: 1+ yearHandling: Light TouchAdditional InformationCDL A Flatbed Driver - Light Touch - $26 Per Hour TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Newport News, VA.  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.  CDL-A Flatbed w/Moffett Driver Details:  Schedule: [Mon-Fri / 1st Shift / home daily Pay: $26 Per hour Route Type: Local Freight / Load Type: wood, vinyl Equipment: Tanker, 48ft-53ft, Manual (10, 13, 18-speed) Handling: Unloading using hose attachment, pressurized tank (not gravity) CDL-A Haz/Tanker/TWIC Driver Minimum Requirements:  License: CDL-A Experience: 2-3+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience, and 1 year of tanker experience  Endorsements: X Equipment Experience: Hazmat/Tanker/TWIC  Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements CDL-A Haz/Tanker/TWIC Driver Responsibilities:  Safely operate CDL-A Tanker on local routes Transport hazmat liquids in accordance with DOT and company safety standards Perform required handling tasks including unloading used oil, jet fuel. CHT, Chemicals, Oily waste, using hose attachment.
