Responsibilities: Position Overview:Under the direction of the manager and charge nurse, the RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab will play a critical role in providing exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing procedures in the Cath Lab. You will be responsible for making nursing assessments, formulating care plans, and delivering pre- and post-procedure care specific to Cardiac Catheterization Lab patients. The RN will ensure the environment of care meets Joint Commission standards and actively contribute to an innovative, team-oriented setting.Responsibilities:Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for Cardiac Catheterization Lab patients.Provide pre- and post-procedure care, ensuring the highest level of nursing care and patient safety.Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate and deliver excellent care.Maintain a safe and compliant environment in line with Joint Commission Standards.Participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures, and Electrophysiology device implantations, gaining advanced clinical skills.Contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and teamwork within the Heart and Vascular team.Why Join Us?Work with advanced Cath Lab technology and medical devices.Be a part of a collaborative, supportive, and dynamic team.Gain experience in interventional cardiac catheterizations, peripheral procedures, and Electrophysiology device implantations.Work alongside a leadership team dedicated to your growth and success. Shift Details:Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3, 12-hour shifts per week).On-Call: Two nights per week and one weekend per month (Fri night close of business to Mon 6:00 AM).Response Time: Must report within 30 minutes of on-call activation.
