This role focuses on designing mission-fit solutions, mapping product capabilities to real-world use cases, and driving “the art of the possible” for defense and intelligence customers.This individual will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Account teams to shape opportunities, develop end-to-end solutions, and support deployments—while influencing the evolution of our AI/ML offerings. Acting as both a technical strategist and customer-facing advisor, the Deployment Strategist plays a critical role in translating emerging needs into scalable, impactful solutions.ResponsibilitiesAct as a trusted advisor to customers, designing end-to-end mission solutions that align AI/ML capabilities with operational needsPartner with Product and Engineering to align solution design with platform capabilities, roadmap priorities, and technical feasibilityMap product features to customer requirements and identify gaps, helping drive feature development and enhancementsLead customer engagements including technical discussions, solution workshops, and live demonstrationsDrive forward-leaning solutioning by introducing new concepts and capabilities—not just existing product featuresCollaborate with Sales and Account teams to shape opportunities, support pre-sales efforts, and refine solution strategiesTranslate customer challenges into actionable inputs for Product (e.g., feature requests, prioritization, and use case development)Support deployment planning and execution, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and mission-readyProvide insights on customer trends, mission needs, and competitive landscape to inform product and growth strategyMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a technical or related fieldU.S. Citizenship requiredActive Secret Clearance3+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or customer-facing engineering rolesExperience designing or contributing to end-to-end technical solutions in a production or customer environmentExposure to AI/ML concepts and workflows (e.g., Python, model development, MLOps pipelines)Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and data/ML pipelines (e.g., AWS or similar)Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and/or Sales teamsStrong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:TS/SCI PreferredExperience in AI/ML deployment, including MLOps, model lifecycle management, or data pipelinesBackground in software development (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar)Experience developing and delivering product demos, proofs of concept, or solution prototypesFamiliarity with US Government or defense/intelligence environmentsAbility to think in terms of product capabilities and translate them into customer valueStrong problem-solving mindset with a focus on innovative, mission-driven solutionsExperience working in Agile environments and collaborating with distributed teamsAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment with an 80/20 balance of customer engagement and internal collaborationPay Transparency: In support of pay transparency at Vantor, we disclose salary ranges on all U.S. job postings.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range. ● The pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $99,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
