Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System. Additional Details: Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to take own patient assignment, with the support of an RN Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Start/maintaining IVs, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Trach care/management, Feeding tube care/management, Heparin Protocols, Pacemakers/Temp/Perm, Telemetry-on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, MS/Tele, Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains Acute Care exp within the last 2 years Special Requests: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed Shift & Scheduling: Every Other Weekend 10 days maximum time off 2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission Proof of identification required Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) Skills Checklist: Yes References: Yes License Type: practical License State: NY Certifications: Basic Life Support, NIH Stroke Scale Job Details Job Type: Travel Nurse/Patient: 1/5-6 Shift Type: Night Contract Date: 2026-04-07 Expected Length: 13 weeks Hours per Shift: 12 Shifts per Week: 4
