The Territory Sales Representative closes sales through face-to-face interaction with customers based within assigned sales territories. They meet with potential and existing customers to present sales proposals and inform them of product benefits and features. The Territory Sales Representative will play a key role in increasing distribution and display activity by managing and negotiating with clients, research sales competition, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services. Conduct professional product presentations to current Retail customersStimulate market growth through new distribution and coverage in independent Retail C-Stores that are supplied by cash & carry and c-store distributors in assigned geography Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long-lasting relationshipsAchieving sales goals and brand building presence and merchandisingAttend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developmentsAssists customers with ordering information and configurations; provides quotations on customer requirements and provides appropriate follow upUtilize iPad technology for reporting all inventory/sales made daily and weeklyPerform any other appropriately related duty as requested by the Sales ManagerBe able to drive a company van (Ford Transit, Connect or similar) throughout the work dayManage cash and client product inventoryMust have a valid driver’s license—no CDL necessaryAbility to follow navigation/directions, communicate, and solve customer challenges that might arisePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSBe able to bend/stoop/squat/kneel throughout the workdayBe able to push/pull/reach/twist throughout the workdayBe able to lift up to 30 lbs. Be able to push/pull weight up to 50 lbs. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESMust possess strong interpersonal, organizational skills with the ability to work effectively with team members, peers, management and external customer contactsMust be able to read and follow a plan-o-gram (POG)Must possess good problem-solving skillsMust be able to use an iPad/Tablet Must have trip planning skills and comfort with driving a commercial van (Ford Transit Connect or similar)Sales or consumer goods experience a plus
