Family Pet Clinic of Newburg is looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our supportive and collaborative team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to use their full skillset while building strong relationships with clients and their pets. Our technicians play a central role in all areas of the clinic-from hands-on surgical and dental care to exam room support and client education. With a diverse caseload and strong doctor partnership, you'll have the opportunity to grow your skills and confidence while working at the top of your license. In this role, you will: Assist with surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings with radiographs Support appointments through patient care, client communication, and education Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and answer client questions Collaborate closely with the veterinary team to deliver high-quality care Utilize a variety of technical skills across surgery, dentistry, and appointments This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who is passionate about patient and client care and enjoys using their full skillset in a collaborative, well-established practice. You'll also have opportunities to learn and grow with ongoing hospital updates, including expanded exam rooms, an upgraded surgery suite, and a comfort suite-all within a supportive, team-focused environment. Our team includes six DVMs, with a seventh joining this summer-including an exotic-focused veterinarian-giving technicians the chance to regularly work with unique species such as sugar gliders, tortoises, axolotls, and even skunks.This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday and rotating Saturdays.
