When your actions lead to success. Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment Troubleshoot and solve work-related problems. Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints Knowledge using CMMS Software Implement the preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment as directed by the Manager Performing routine preventive maintenance Maintaining the building equipment Basic knowledge of calibrations Assist in project work as assigned. Understands and applies applicable quality system procedures. References quality system documentation as appropriate. Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuries Follows safety practices and maintains housekeeping standards. When your expertise drives us. Able to read and write. Able to perform basic math using a calculator. Able to use a computer to retrieve emails and other electronic information. Knowledge and use of electronic systems such as Prism, Wonderware, SharePoint, and email. Able to perform mechanical measurements Follows instructions. Good organizational skills. Able to lift 50 pounds Able to use a ladder Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Able to crawl under space and confine space Good hand/eye coordination. Good housekeeping skills are a must. Excellent time management skills Self-motivator; ability to work with limited supervision. Excellent communication skills. Must be able to work in a team environment Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a craftsman, electromechanics, or maintenance technician experience Board certification or equivalent experience in one or more of the following fields: electrical wiring, welding, HVAC maintenance, pipe fitting, or hydraulics. Excellent skill in all major areas of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance. Excellent skill in the repair of production equipment mechanical problems Excellent skill in milling of metals, servicing of boilers, mechanical troubleshooting and/or electrical troubleshooting, compressed air equipment, and painting. Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations as they pertain to plant operation and maintenance Good experience with plant safety and fire protection systems.
