Become a member of the Johnson Controls family and thrive in an empowering company culture where every voice and idea is valued – your next great opportunity is just a few clicks away!What you will doPerform a variety of skilled and unskilled duties relating to manufacturing operations with minimal instructions and in accordance with established schedules.Maintain parts supplies for future orders as well as current orders being produced.Fills shortages of parts and receives various materials into stock.Operate hand or power vehicles and overhead crane in performance of duties.Expedite parts shortages in order to complete jobs throughout other sections of the plant.Advise Supervisor of the status (including problem areas) of jobs in process.Requires a working knowledge of SAP, warehouse management, bills of material, drawings, assembly techniques and different products manufactured. Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards.Maintain necessary records and reporting information required.Move material when complete to the next area of operation or storage.Dump all hoppers when necessary.Take material to and from different operations and buildings. Trips from one building to another should include both incoming and outgoing materials; loading and unloading trucks.Pass and maintain certification required by lease agreement, and/or state/federal codes.May be called upon to participate within special work teams performing various team related duties. Including Kaizen events, 5S programs and problem solving exercises.Perform utility functions by filling in for production workers whenever necessary.Follow all safety policies, procedures and JHRA’s.RequirementsHigh school diplomaHIRING HOURLY PAY: $28.23(Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
