This role partners with the Propulsion Systems HVAC & Engine Systems, SRT Vehicle Performance, and SRT Controls & Calibration System Integration teams to deliver highly capable performance vehicles.     The Technical Manager will be responsible for:   Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Project Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of SRT Engines & Adaptation, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and performance standards.  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, deliverables, and project timelines, ensuring seamless integration and execution.  Technical Guidance: Conduct regular project reviews, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, and support to the engineering team.  Communication: Understand and follow departments business model, strategic direction, purpose, and mission and continually communicate that to direct reports.  Strategic Planning: Work with Director to participate in departments resource planning, goal setting and road map or engineering footprint creation.  Technical Specification: Assist engineers in generating detailed system and sub-system technical specifications (SSTS/TTS) to ensure functional objectives are met.   Problem Solving: Assist the team in identifying the root cause of the issue and collaborative problem-solving. Work closely with suppliers to develop and implement effective technical solutions, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to project timelines.  Total Warranty Cost Reduction and value optimization: Collaborate with teams to identify areas of improvement to reduce total warranty cost and propose technical solutions.  DFSS: Lead initiatives to integrate DFSS principles into project workflows, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
