Production Planning Specialist (Slotter)

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Production Planning Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of developing vehicle schedules (slotted orders) for an Assembly Plant (s) adhering to the production program, supplier, and plant constraints.  Adjust schedules as required to sustain production.  In some instances, this may require weekend assistance.  Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:  Lead discussions between key stakeholders to maintain a steady flow of usable orders to extend gate line (sequenced orders) Collaborate with the assembly plant management for the development of launch curves for new features/programs Must be able to work with others and build consensus to solve complex problems The position requires strong interaction with key stakeholder's counterparts within SCM Production Planning, SCM Demand Planning, Plant personnel & SCM Capacity Planning to ensure the production plan balances inventory and profit opportunity Enabling successful buildouts and new model year launches by managing orders and program in line with launch curves and buildout timing  Collaborating with ICT to optimize OSS and FOG to achieve business goals  Our Benefits - Designed with You in Mind Comprehensive Health & Well-being Coverage From your very first day, you'll have access to medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage - ensuring you and your family stay healthy and protected.
