HCA Healthcare has committed up to $300 million in programs to support our incredible team members over the course of three years.Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: Oversees daily operations consistent with the departmental goalsMonitors orientation of new staff through collaboration with preceptorServes as the primary point of contact (while on duty) in the absence of TC leadership Assists management with scheduling and covering open shiftsResponsible for QA/QI of data, phone calls, and reportsStrives to improve current operations by identifying inefficienciesMeets with leadership regularly to effectively communicate and resolve issuesWorks as a liaison between staff and leadershipPlays a vital role in emergency operationsAssists in data collection, monitoring, evaluation and analysis of dataMonitors the call queue for the Transfer Center What qualifications you will need: Graduate from an accredited school of nursingBachelor of Nursing preferredPrior management/ supervisory experience in a healthcare related field preferredMinimum 5 years of healthcare experience (required) Critical Care or Emergency Department experience preferredRN License in the states where the HCA facilities for that Division are located – multi-state license required if Transfer Center covers more than a single state (may be obtained upon hire) Scheduling Requirements: 12 Hour Shifts - RequiredFlexibility in scheduling - Required Rotating Weekends - Required Holiday Shifts - Required BenefitsMedical City Plano, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
