Litigation Clerk

Litigation Docket Clerk- Hybrid 85k NYC Responsible for maintaining the Firm's master litigation calendar, including setting up notification processes and individual attorney calendars. Calculate deadlines based upon applicable rules and statutes Serve and file court papers, electronically and manually Collaborate with other members of the Managing Clerk's Office to maintain the Firm's litigation docket and calendar Coordinate and if necessary, perform court services functions (i.e., retrieving court documents, reviewing and filing documents and coordinating process servers) Coordinate work projects with other members of the Managing Clerk's Office. (Docket audit, outstanding motion lists, appeal lists, business development lists, etc.) Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required Proficient in industry-standard calendaring tools such as CourtAlert and CompuLaw Familiarity with electronic and manual filing in state and federal courts preferred (PACER and NYSCEF) Knowledge of local, state and federal court rules, procedures and requirements and an understanding of the environment and enthusiasm for the challenges of providing complex services in a law firm setting  If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
