Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team where you will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment. Minimum Requirements An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB certificate required.State license or certification to practice nuclear medicine in Nebraska.BLS certification required.Minimum 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.Experience working in a hospital environment preferred.Ability to comply with facility radiation safety procedures. Radiation badge will be provided by the client.Driver's license required at submittal to verify radius requirement.Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity (radius rule applies: 50 miles).DOT certification preferred at initial contract and required for extensions within 90 days.Fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas. Noncompliance may result in termination of contract. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital.Shift: Days.Shift hours: 0700-1500.Typical schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.On-call requirement: Call one day per week and every 5th weekend.Orientation hours: 12 hours.Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the client network.Charting system: EPIC.Equipment on-site: Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM; training provided if candidate lacks experience with specific equipment. Location Highlights Omaha, NE offers a mix of urban and riverside attractions within easy drives to regional parks. The Old Market district provides historic brick streets, dining, and galleries less than 10 minutes from downtown, and the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge spans the Missouri River with walking access between Omaha and Council Bluffs, Iowa, approximately 0.5 miles to the east. The Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium is a major family attraction located about 10 minutes from downtown and features indoor exhibits and the Desert Dome. Outdoor recreation options include hiking and birding at Fontenelle Forest, roughly a 20-minute drive, and Lewis and Clark Lake is about 70 miles northwest for boating and fishing. The city supports an urban lifestyle with a regional airport (Eppley Airfield) offering flights under 20 minutes from downtown and a compact downtown with theaters, professional sports venues, and riverfront parks.
