Job Description

Join our team as an Echo Ultrasound Tech / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist and use your expertise to operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, compassionately prepare patients for echocardiogram procedures, and produce detailed images of the heart for interpretation by healthcare teams. Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited School of Sonography or equivalent experience.ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac sonography (required).BLS certification (required).Minimum of 5 years of cardiac ultrasound experience.Experience performing transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.Comfortable starting IVs and administering Definity contrast.Experience with outpatient echocardiography settings and ability to work independently with minimal onboarding.Familiarity with Philips EPIQ ultrasound systems and Epic EMR preferred.Ability to complete prereads and adhere to established protocols and documentation standards. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital.Shift name: Days.Shift details: Days 0700-1700.Typical workdays: Monday – Friday, daytime schedule.Work schedule expectation: 5 days per week; outpatient site will vary among multiple local locations within the region.Expected daily volume: up to 7 full echocardiograms and 1 limited echocardiogram per day, including completion of prereads.No on-call requirements for this assignment.
