After the probationary period, 80% remote work and 20% on site. Weekly Work Schedule: 40 hours per week during the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Occasional extended hours may be necessary by mutual agreement, e.g. Working weekends, past normal business hours. Description of Engagement: The New York State and Local Retirement System (NYSLRS) has recently installed a modernized retirement benefit administration program. The implemented platform is an Oracle PeopleSoft solution. NYSLRS requires an individual with Application Development skills to work with in-house Application Development team to manage and execute application development efforts. Qualifications: Seven or more years of application development experience with PeopleSoft using at least three or more of the following toolsets: XML, SQR, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, PSQuery, Data Mover, Application Engine, and Components Interface. Seven or more years of experience in using SQL. Four or more years of experience in using PeopleTools 8.57 and higher. Five or more years of experience conceptualizing and transforming business requirements into design documents with associated test plans and documentation. Four or more years of experience developing collaborative solutions and troubleshooting issues between functional and technical teams. Four or more years of experience providing knowledge transfer on new technologies and/or the developed application to other application developers. Four or more years of experience supporting the development of other application development staff. Four or more years of experience managing technical resources (staff) in a PeopleSoft environment. Five years of experience implementing or supporting an Oracle PeopleSoft implementation of a retirement benefit administration program.
