Senior Project Manager

Our client, a public sector organization dedicated to health and safety, is seeking a Sr Project Manager to join their team.  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Sr Project Manager Location:El Dorado Hills, California (Remote work available) Pay Range:$75 What's the Job? Lead the planning and execution of maintenance and operations for the software platform. Coordinate with leaders, subject matter experts, and control agency contacts to align project objectives and priorities. Manage project scope, schedule, risks, and issues using agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project. Develop comprehensive project dashboards, status reports, and communication materials for stakeholders at all levels. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and artifacts, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. What's Needed? Minimum of 4 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects within a public sector environment, with a total budget of at least $10M. Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI or equivalent. Proficiency with agile project management tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps or Jira. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Microsoft Project for project scheduling and tracking. What's in it for me?
