Our client, an industry leader in supporting enterprise technology solutions, is seeking a Desktop Technician III to join their team. As a Desktop Technician III, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting onsite deployment and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Desktop Technician III Location: Spring, TX (On-site)  Pay Range: $40-$45/hr W-2  Overview We are seeking a skilled and customer‑focused Desktop Technician to support end-users onsite in Spring TX. This role is ideal for an IT professional who thrives in an on‑site, client‑facing environment and enjoys delivering high‑quality technical support. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and supporting laptops and related hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a seamless technology experience for users. Success in this role requires strong technical fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced corporate setting. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and refresh laptops, shared workstations, printers, and peripheral devices Perform basic software installations using an in‑house software deployment tool Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues both on‑site and remotely Support basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN access Provide professional, customer‑focused technical support and guidance to end users Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset records at the office location Create and update documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps Coordinate with project coordinators and local on‑site IT teams to support deployment schedules and business needs Required Qualifications Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications are a plus 3-5 years of experience in desktop support, executive support, or IT deployment roles Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 Experience with software deployment tools and remote support technologies Familiarity with Azure or other cloud technologies Basic understanding of network concepts and configurations Experience using ServiceNow or a similar IT ticketing system Skills & Competencies Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Professional, customer‑service‑oriented approach Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong time‑management and organizational skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and carry computer equipment as required Why This Role?
