Our client, a leading data center and cloud infrastructure provider, is seeking a Data Center Operations Engineer (DCOE) Lead to join their team. As a DCOE Lead, you will be part of the Engineering Operations Department supporting Critical Facilities and Data Center Operations Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Critical Facilities Technician Lead Sparks Nevada Pay Range: $45/hr. 6–24-month contract Shift Schedule: Day Shift Here are the Top 3 Must-Have Skills for this role: Data Center / Critical Facility Experience – Hands-on experience operating and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure environments Electrical & Mechanical Systems Expertise – Strong knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH systems Leadership / Team Oversight – Experience leading technicians, managing shifts, and mentoring junior team members What’s the Job? Lead operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure (UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH) Monitor BMS/DCIM systems and respond to alarms to maintain environmental stability Act as Shift Lead, coordinating team workload, priorities, and escalations Train and mentor L1/L2 technicians through hands-on guidance and structured OJT programs Ensure compliance with safety standards, perform audits, and support incident response What’s Needed? 5+ years of experience in a data center or critical facilities environment Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems (UPS, generators, HVAC, cooling systems) 1+ year of leadership or team lead experience Knowledge of safety standards such as OSHA, LOTO, and NFPA 70E Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills What’s it in me?
