Senior Controls Engineer

Our client, a leader in industrial automation and control systems, is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting control systems projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer Location: Buffalo, NY   What's the Job? Engineer and design pneumatic piping diagrams to ensure efficient system operation. Develop and design electrical wiring diagrams for complex control systems. Create hydraulic piping diagrams to support various automation processes. Design electrical control panels that meet safety and performance standards. Develop programmable logic controller (PLC) software and human-machine interface (HMI) software for control systems. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 5-7 years of experience in control systems engineering or related roles. Proficiency with application of programmable machine controls hardware and software. Experience with Servo drive hardware and software applications.
