Join our team in Prescott, AZ as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting. You will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during cardiac and vascular surgical procedures. You will prepare the operating room, ensure sterile technique, manage instrumentation for complex cardiac cases, and provide timely support during cases to promote patient safety and efficient workflow. Minimum Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent certification recognized by the employer.BLS Certification required.Minimum 1 year of open heart experience required. Prefer candidates with 2 years in a CVOR or cardiac surgical environment.Prior experience with cardiac cases including CABG, aortic valve, mitral valve, and TAVR preferred.Experience working with Cerner electronic medical record preferred.Ability to scrub for procedures. Familiarity with hybrid room workflows is preferred.Willingness to take call. Candidate should be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital.Unit: CVOR Tech (Main/West Campus) with 6 ORs including 1 CVOR and 1 hybrid room.Shift: Days.Shift hours: 0600-1400 (Monday through Friday; unit notes indicate M-F 0600-1430).Typical case volume: 20-30 cases per day with 1-2 cardiac vascular cases and up to 4 TAVR procedures on some days.Orientation: 12 hours.Scrubs: Hospital provides scrubs.Charting system: Cerner.Call requirements: Significant call responsibility; on call up to 50% of weekday evenings and up to 50% of weekends.
