Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Computer Lab Technician to join their team. As a Computer Lab Technician, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting the Hardware Validation and System Testing teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:Computer Lab Technician Location:Santa Clara, CA What's the Job? Assist in hardware validation programs by supporting physical setup, configuration, and maintenance of lab environments. Manage multiple desktop and server test systems to support the bring-up and validation of new PCIe endpoint devices. Build, configure, and maintain a fleet of desktop and server test systems, including BIOS configuration, power routing, and PCIe card installation. Support validation engineers with physical setup, cabling, and deployment tasks. Install, image, and configure Windows and Linux operating systems across various test benches, ensuring proper networking and updates. What's Needed? Hands-on experience in a hardware lab environment, gained through academic projects or professional experience. Familiarity with computer architecture and the ability to confidently assemble and disassemble desktop and server systems. Comfortable navigating and configuring both Windows and Linux operating systems. Ability to read technical documentation and follow precise physical setup instructions. Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean, organized, and ESD-safe lab environment. What's in it for me?
