Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in Automotive, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift Location:Fremont, California Pay Range: $36 - 40/hr., based on experience What's the Job? Respond to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests promptly to minimize downtime Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and communicate corrective actions Improve preventive maintenance documentation and schedules under supervision Perform major repairs and rebuilds of manufacturing equipment, including some weekend and holiday work Utilize manufacturing systems such as MES, spares inventory, and issue tracking tools effectively What's Needed? At least 3 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation systems Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC systems; Fanuc robot experience is a plus Familiarity with any area of electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, or automation/PLC/robotics  Ability to troubleshoot automation, conveyance, electromechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics What's in it for me?
