Find your calling at Mercy!The Cardiac Quality Improvement Specialist partners with leaders and multidisciplinary teams to drive high"‘impact cardiac quality initiatives, modeling and teaching improvement principles while developing project plans, conducting chart audits, and analyzing outcomes against national benchmarks. This role identifies opportunities for improved care and cost reduction, coordinates investigations into quality issues, maintains organized and confidential data systems, and stays current through ongoing education. With strong cardiac expertise, the specialist supports the implementation, monitoring, and advancement of processes that enhance patient safety, regulatory compliance, and overall cardiac care quality.Position Details:This role will require cardiac knowledge and experience to support and navigate cardiac patients with multidisciplinary team approach.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, current RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensed in state of practice will be considered.Experience: 3 years clinical experienceSkills, Knowledge, Abilities:Strong written and oral communication skills, proven leadership ability, knowledge of complex hospital and healthcare systems, processes and quality/performance improvement, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Effective change agent.
