MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SYSTEMS ENGINEER to join our team in STAFFORD, VA. This role supports the design, integration, and optimization of complex IT systems and infrastructure. You will help deliver reliable, scalable solutions that meet mission, and end-user needs while contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide multi-platform technical support across desktop, AV, and networked environments, ensuring system performance, reliability, and compliance.Support system integration efforts, including AV and VTC technologies, contributing to end-to-end deployment and lifecycle management.Assist in engineering and implement workflow improvements to enhance system efficiency, usability, and scalability.Support network infrastructure initiatives, including expansion, optimization, and performance tuning.Conduct system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and provide sustainable technical solutions to complex user issues.Maintain system documentation, asset tracking, and lifecycle management processes to ensure accuracy and accountability.Contribute to quality assurance efforts by validating system performance, compliance, and data integrity.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; 4+ years of experience in the field of systems engineering, technical support, or IT infrastructure role. A total of 8 years’ experience without a degree.Security+ certificationExperience providing Tier I–III technical support across multiple operating systems.Knowledge of network infrastructure, system integration, and lifecycle management concepts.Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and end-user support.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with AV/VTC systems and Global Video Services (GVS).Familiarity with process optimization and workflow engineering.CCNA or CCNP (or in progress).Experience supporting DoD or government environments.Clearance Requirements:Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.Physical Requirements:Must be able and willing to perform occasional manual labor and warehouse duties, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
