Medical Device Repair Technician

Our client, a leader in medical device repair and manufacturing, is seeking a Medical Device Repair Technician to join their team. As a Medical Device Repair Technician, you will be part of the Technical Service Department supporting device repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Medical Device Repair Technician Location: San Antonio, TX Pay Range: $18 to $20 p/h on W-2 Duration 6 + month contract What's the Job? Perform device repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and preventive maintenance on internal and external medical VAC equipment. Execute quality control procedures for all repaired VAC devices prior to releasing them back to customers. Provide technical support over the telephone for customers, sales teams, and third-party maintenance providers. Assist in research, development, testing, and inspection of new products and repairs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained. What's Needed? At least 1 year of experience in electrical assembly, troubleshooting, soldering, or related electrical/mechanical work. Ability to read electrical schematic diagrams, BOMs, and work instructions. Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Willingness to meet physical demands of the role, including passing a fitness test if required.
