Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in Automotive, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift Location: Fremont, California Pay Range:$38-42/hr.  What's the Job? Respond to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests promptly to minimize downtime Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and communicate corrective actions Perform major repairs and rebuilds of manufacturing equipment, including some weekends and holidays Utilize manufacturing systems such as MES, spares inventory, and issue tracking tools effectively Collaborate with process and equipment engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and safety protocols What's Needed? At least 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation systems Strong Siemens PLC experience highly desired Experience with Fanuc robots is a plus Familiarity with any of the following: electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, or automation/PLC/robotics systems Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics What's in it for me?
