Job Description

Position Summary As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will serve as a key partner to the Pricing Manager, playing a vital role in our commercial strategy. You will translate complex cost data into actionable pricing insights, spearheading the preparation of competitive bids and customer quotations. By providing clear, data-driven analytics to functional leadership, you will directly influence our margin performance and market positioning.   Key Responsibilities In this role, you are the pivot point for our most significant commercial decisions. Your primary focus will be: Strategic Bid Leadership: Spearhead high-impact proposal efforts and RFPs. You will develop the pricing tools, cost models, and bid spreadsheets that ensure our responses are as accurate as they are competitive. Dynamic Cost Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated models for multiple sites and product lines. You’ll transform raw data—from machine hour rates to basis weights—into clear pricing guidance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the "financial glue" between Sales, Procurement, and Manufacturing. You will synthesize input from these departments to create realistic cost driver assumptions and manage the transition from trial to commercialization. Margin Integrity: Determine pricing levels that align with our strategic goals. You will develop and implement escalator/de-escalator mechanisms to protect our business from market volatility. Advanced Data Analytics: Conduct "deep dives" into work order breakdowns and actual vs. model performance. You’ll interpret market conditions and competitor pricing to provide actionable intelligence to executive leadership.   Technical Mastery Manufacturing IQ: You possess an advanced understanding of the manufacturing floor—BOMs, routes, waste factors, setup times, and MOQs are second nature to you. Excel Power User: You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables) and experienced with BI tools and ERP systems. Mathematical Precision: You can comfortably navigate the algebra and geometry required to calculate freight rates, volume discounts, and margin percentages.   Experience & Education Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. Background: 3–5 years of experience in pricing analysis or cost modeling, specifically within a manufacturing or packaging environment.   Professional Strengths The "Proactive" Edge: You don't just identify problems; you develop the options to solve them. You exercise sound judgment under pressure. Communication: You can translate complex financial data into a compelling narrative for everyone from the shop floor to the C-suite. Integrity: You maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professional polish in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.   Why Join Us? We offer a challenging, high-visibility environment where your work directly impacts the company’s bottom line. If you are a self-motivated professional who thrives on detail and strategic thinking, we want to hear from you.   #CORPEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
