Pre-cool reefer units to Company specifications.Operates tractor-trailer equipment in accordance to D.O.T. regulations on or off company property for docking and loading/unloading of productComplete unloading of return trailers and wash and sweep out trailers if necessaryChock wheels after trailer is in proper door. Follow AIR LINE LOCK procedure on each trailerVerify unit departure times and align equipment; accordingly, making sure tractor is hooked appropriate to trailer for assigned routeMust be available for nights, weekends, and holidaysJOB REQUIREMENTS:  A valid Class A CDL, current DOT medical card, and at least 2 year of tractor-trailer driving and delivery experienceAbility to lift 5–75+ lbs., stay active throughout the shift, and work in multi-temperature environments (coolers/freezers)Strong customer service skills and clear communication with dispatch, store teams, and fellow driversFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operationAbility to complete vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and meet all compliance requirements, including reading and speaking English as required by DOT regulationsAs required by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, commercial drivers must read and speak English sufficiently to   communicate with the public, understand highway signs and traffic signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries in reports and records.Schedule:2 Shifts availableSunday thru Wednesday is as follows:Sunday – 630am – 5pmMonday thru Wednesday – 8am – 630pm Wednesday thru Saturday is as follows:Wednesday thru Friday – 8am – 630pmSaturday – 630am – 5pmWE OFFER:  Starting pay: $35/hr.4 Days on 3 Days offWeekly pay (every Friday)Health, dental, and vision coverage after just 30 days401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and moreCompany-provided uniforms and work boots  WHY JOIN QCD: We’re not just in the business of distribution - we’re in the business of development.
