Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission). • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - Nurses need to have the ability to read strips. We titrate drips occasionally. Special Requests: - Common diagnoses/types of patients: STEMI, NSTEMI, HF, congenital, TAVR, MITRACLIP, peripheral. Cath lab is separate from IR and EP. - EMR/Equipment: Epic; GE and Philips monitors and McKesson. - Call teams are 4 person; regular cases are 3 person (1 RN and 2 RTR). - At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Shift & Scheduling: - with call on weekend and nights. - On occasions we do work over to get all the cases completed if emergent cases come up. - Weeknight call requirements: 6-8 call shifts/month. This includes the primary call and backup call. - Weekend call requirements: Every 6-7 full weekend, starts Friday at 5:30 PM and ends 6:00 AM on Monday morning. There are additional weekend shifts that RNs will serve for backup person. They will be the circulator for emergent cases. These shifts are 24 hour shifts and happen on average once/month. - Holiday call requirements: Easter BU call shift.
