MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Network Engineer to join our team in Hanover, Maryland.The System Network Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to play a vital role in protecting national security and driving innovation, with opportunities for career growth.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyzing user requirements, operational concepts, and system architectures to develop detailed system specifications.Leading system design and development activities, guiding users in requirements formulation, and evaluating alternative solutions.Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture and design documents, engineering management plans, and integration/test plans.Ensuring the technical integrity of systems engineering deliverables and managing the system baseline throughout its lifecycle.Directing the development, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems and networks, including requirements analysis and interface standards.Assisting with system security compliance and the application of security controls to networks and equipment.Leading or assisting with the troubleshooting and repair of systems and network components, including routers, switches, servers, VMs, and workstations.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; an additional 5 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.14+ years of systems engineering experience.7 years of combined experience in:Designing and implementing Cisco networks and Windows Server across classified or unclassified environments.Architecting and configuring secure, classified systems, servers, and network enclaves.Providing systems engineering expertise, including design, software deployment, and advanced troubleshooting for workstations and servers.Preferred Qualifications: Multi-platform expertise in the design and administration of VMware, Linux/UNIX, and Windows Server environments.Clearance Requirements: Active/Current TS/SCI with Polygraph.Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
