About the roleAs a SAP S/4HANA FICO Functional Architect, you will make an impact by leading fit-gap workshops, providing solutions within the Global Template, and supporting critical phases of rollout. You will be a valued member of the Finance Transformation team and work collaboratively with onsite and offshore teams, technical experts, and business stakeholders.In this role, you will:Conduct fit-gap workshops with local business and align requirements to Global Template.Perform system customizations and testing, collaborating with technical teams as needed.Create documentation as per project standards across all phases.Support client during UAT, Cutover, Go-Live, and Hypercare phases.Ensure compliance with local statutory and tax reporting requirements.Work model: Remote from the United States only with travel for project milestonesWhat you need to have to be consideredProven experience in S/4 HANA rollouts in SAP FICO Accounting to Reporting.Deep knowledge of Finance & Controlling processes and integration with other modules.Expertise in Finance areas: GL (Document Splitting/Parallel Ledger), Asset Accounting, AR/AP, Banking (SEPA, DMEE XML, EBS), LockBox, Intercompany invoicing.Expertise in Controlling: Account-based COPA, Material Ledger actual valuation, Month-end closing activities.Experience with FSCM Credit Management and external credit agency interfaces.These will help you stand outStrong SAP experience within Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industryKnowledge of Plant Abroad scenarios.Understanding of Gross-to-Net scenarios in Life Sciences for US.Experience with accruals for chargebacks and rebates.Knowledge of Rebate functionality in S/4 HANA.Familiarity with local tax and statutory reporting requirements in US/CA along with DRC.Salary and Other CompensationThis position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.BenefitsMedical/Dental/Vision/Life InsurancePaid holidays plus Paid Time Off401(k) plan and contributionsLong-term/Short-term DisabilityEmployee Stock Purchase PlanDisclaimerThe salary, other compensation, and benefits information is accurate as of the date of this posting.
