We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve their daily skills while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.Active New York State OT license required to start the assignment.BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.Minimum of 1 year of experience providing occupational therapy in home health settings preferred.Experience with home safety evaluations, ADL/IADL retraining, and durable medical equipment recommendations preferred.Current professional certification required by the client as noted in order documentation.
