Dental Assistant – Elyria, OHOur established group dental practice in Elyria, OH is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Our office includes five dentists and a support staff of approximately 18 employees. The ideal candidate will play an important role in delivering excellent patient care while helping maintain an efficient and welcoming clinical environment.Schedule• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM• Full-time, 35 to 40 hours per weekDuties & Responsibilities• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms while following infection control and aseptic protocols• Take dental X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures• Conduct preliminary patient assessments including vital signs and medical history• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and maintaining patient information• Provide chairside assistance for procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions• Operate 3D scanners when required for procedures• Collaborate with the front office team to maintain efficient patient flow and schedulingRequirements• Ohio X-Ray License required• Prior experience in a dental clinic setting preferred• Familiarity with dental terminology and dental coding• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software• Strong understanding of infection control procedures• Excellent communication and organizational skillsPay & Compensation• $20 – $25 per hour• Paid holidays• Paid personal time• Medical insurance (50% of premium paid)• Dental insurance• Production bonusIf you are a motivated Dental Assistant looking to join a collaborative team environment, we would love to hear from you.Benefits:Medical, Dental, PTO, BonusesCompensation:$20-$25/hour
