POSITION TITLESenior Credit Analyst, Corporate Credit Research - HealthcareLOCATIONStamford, CTYOUR ROLE A Senior Credit Analyst is an important member of the Investment Grade Corporate Credit Research team. This role requires utilization of fundamental credit research to evaluate investment opportunities and monitor existing investment positions in various sectors. This position will partner with other members of the Investment Grade research team to develop a holistic approach to credit selection and portfolio strategies and will report to the head of Public/Private Corporate Credit Research. What you will be doingConduct through fundamental credit analysis, provide timely buy/hold/sell recommendations in support of investment and portfolio management needs regarding primary and secondary market investment opportunities with a focus on Healthcare and InsuranceAnalyze market investment opportunities including total exposure, maturity and relative value, as well as consideration of broader investment goals, strategies, and risk toleranceLead coverage of an assigned portfolio, including Healthcare, with respect to evaluating, analyzing and reporting on each credits’ financial results, major news releases, investor communications, and rating agency actionsInteract with rating agencies, sell-side analysts and other independent sources to obtain external views on credits and sectorsDrive and contribute to department or division-wide projects and process improvement efforts Support team in responding to information requests and perform portfolio analyses to provide transparency to Senior ManagementWhat you bringBachelor’s degree in a business or related area of study7+ years credit research experienceStrong written and verbal communications skills with ability to clearly articulate opinions and influence peers and senior managementStrong functional capability with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applicationsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environmentEmployee Benefits & Well-BeingGenworth employees make a difference in people’s lives every day. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 60% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization
