Position: Warehouse SupervisorCompensation: $70,500.00 Job Description: Ramp Logistics is looking for a highly accomplished individual who will manage the Inbound team to ensure the daily receiving of inventory based on clients & service level agreements. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for upholding warehouse safety, assignment accuracy, productivity levels, and facility maintenance as well as coordinating warehouse activities under the direction of the warehouse manager/operations manager. Core Responsibilities & Duties: Supervise the inbound team to ensure daily responsibilities are metEnsure purchase orders and return items are staged in warehouse and received in WMSUnderstand, drive, and ensure departmental key performance indicators (KPI’s) are being metProvide employee training and maintain training recordsMaintain customer documentation processing and filingUtilize WMS (Scale) to manage and assign workload Plan and allocate labor to the roles necessary based on daily output and projectionsReceive product using warehouse inventory software’s, such as SCALE WMSManage inventory and perform Inventory Cycle CountsWork closely with upper management to improve warehouse processes and efficienciesWork with upper management on staffing and equipment needsEnsure safety compliance for facilityPromote safety and report accidents or injuries in a timely mannerMaintain and organize used boxes & supplies necessary for order fulfillment & business needsReport substandard or inconsistencies with supply quality to managementEnsure equipment maintenance is current and compliantOverall general upkeep of warehouse such as sweeping, breakdown of cartons, and/or emptying of garbage binsSupervise, coach, and develop warehouse associatesOther duties as assignedJob Requirements & Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of five (5) years’ management experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMinimum of five (5) years’ experience in training and motivating staffForklift Certified preferred, but not requiredAbility to operate various pieces of equipment (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, handheld scanner, box cutter, picking cart, desktop computer, shrink wrap, and baler)Minimum of one (1) year experience using FedEx, UPS, and DHL software for the purpose of shipping Ability to work well under general or minimal supervision Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environmentMust be able to lift a minimum of fifty (50) poundsMinimum of 3-5 years of WMS (Scale) experience preferred but not required What We Offer: Competitive base salaryPaid time off within the first year of employment, sick time and holidays.Company provided life insuranceHealth, vision, and dental insurance optionsCommuter benefit planOptional supplemental life insurance401(k)Wellness programA great place to work with a terrific culture Since 1990, Forward Air has been a leading provider of ground transportation and related logistics services to the North American air freight and expedited LTL market.
