Shape the Future of Oncology Quality, Safety & Patient ExperienceWe are seeking a clinically experienced, systems-focused Registered Nurse leader to serve as our Lead Quality, Safety & Regulatory Analyst supporting the Cancer Service Line.This is a high-visibility, enterprise-impact role designed for a professional who thrives in influence-based leadership"”driving outcomes across multiple oncology programs without direct reports, but with significant responsibility for program oversight, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement.You will partner closely with physician leadership and interdisciplinary teams to advance evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care, ensuring excellence in quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all oncology sites.What You'll Do:Drive Quality, Safety & Regulatory ExcellenceServe as a subject matter expert in quality, patient safety, patient experience, and regulatory compliance across the Cancer Service LinePromote a high-reliability culture focused on continuous improvement and operational excellenceLead Accreditation & Continuous ReadinessCoordinate and lead readiness efforts for Joint Commission, Commission on Cancer (CoC), QOPI, ASTRO, FDA, and state regulatory standardsOversee policy development, audits, corrective actions, and site visit preparationEnsure sustained compliance through proactive monitoring and interdisciplinary collaborationAdvance Oncology Quality ProgramsSupport CoC standards and committee work, including reporting, competencies, and quality improvement initiativesPartner with physician leaders to advance evidence-based oncology practicesElevate Patient ExperienceAnalyze and translate Press Ganey and related data into actionable insightsLead development and tracking of department-level improvement plansCo-lead Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) initiativesLead Patient Safety & Event ReviewOversee event review processes including CCERT, CANDOR, and Root Cause AnalysesEnsure timely investigation, follow-up, and communication of lessons learnedDrive system-level improvements based on safety trendsOversee Medication & Chemotherapy SafetyPartner with Pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure safe medication practicesMonitor infusion pump compliance, chemotherapy governance, and medication handling standardsInfluence Through CollaborationServe on and/or lead key committees (e.g., Medication Safety, P&T, Falls, Chemotherapy Safety)Translate system-level decisions into operational practice across oncology settingsLeverage Data to Drive DecisionsCollect, analyze, and interpret quality and safety dataIdentify trends, mitigate risks, and guide performance improvement initiativesEducate & EngageProvide education and consultation to leaders and caregiversPromote best practices through targeted communication, huddles, and trainingQualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware or compact stateMaster's degree in nursing or related healthcare field (BSN or MSN required)Minimum 3+ years of oncology experience in a leadership or management capacityONS CertificationPreferredExperience with oncology accreditation programs (CoC, QOPI, ASTRO)Strong background in quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient safetyChristianaCare benefits:Incredible Work/Life benefits including annual membership to , access to backup care services for dependents through Care@Work, retirement planning services, financial coaching, fitness and wellness reimbursement, and phenomenal discounts through several vendors for hotels, rental cars, theme parks, shows, sporting events, movie tickets and much more!Our medical/dental/vision benefits are available to our caregivers on their first day of employment!
